Are you looking for a change? Itching to do just one thing to update the look of your Kitchen but don’t want it to look like everyone else’s?
Everyone knows that somewhere, some way, the government always gets their “cut”. From income taxes to sales tax it seems that nothing is untouchable anymore. So, it stands to reason that anyone considering Home Improvements will wonder what those improvements will do to their property value and, eventually, their property taxes.
Wow! It’s almost here! 2010 is just around the corner and, tonight, we will usher in a new decade. It has been quite a roller coaster ride this past year for us and for many of you as well, I’m sure. We’ve seen so many changes in the world from politics to technology and some major changes have taken place in the construction industry.
With the holiday season in full swing we thought it would be nice to take this time to recognize one of our more recent additions to the Burgin Construction Family. Though he’s been a member of the family for well over a year now, he’s recently begun taking a more active interest in the company. He’s jumped into his new position with all 4 feet and seems to love his job. While we normally don’t advocate laying down on the job, it’s a process that seems to work well for him. Here is our new Production Manager, Tiger:
Like most everyone else, we are looking back over the past year and thinking about what we are thankful for. And, while we are always thankful for our customers, employees and trade partners, that is more true this year than in any other. The economic issues that country and our state have faced have cost so many a great deal. Thanks to YOU, we are still here after 20 years and we want each of you to know that you are greatly appreciated!
Earlier this week I was laid back and relaxed about the Thanksgiving holiday. Just my husband and I and our two girls. A nice, quiet, family Thanksgiving. I had planned out a simple menu with all the necessities and not a lot of effort required on my part. It would be a wonderful day with no hosting duties, nowhere to go and I was in complete control!
Over the past few months I have found that there are endless possibilities for internet marketing and client communication. We have implemented many of these options not only in an effort to increase our sales but also to improve our communication with clients, trade partners and colleagues.
Before I begin, please don’t take this as a commercial. Those of you who know me know that I am a big believer of giving my opinion on things whether good or bad. I am very outspoken when I find a product that does what its supposed to do at a reasonable price. I love new gadgets that “just work” hence my desk littered with my Samsung Instinct, Ipod, GN Netcom Handsfree Headset and Lifter, and last but not least, my Kindle. When I find a new product that helps either me personally or the Burgin Company as a whole I sing its praises repeatedly. And the one I’m singing about this week? The Flip Video.
I love writing this blog. It is truly one major highlight of my work week. I love interacting with our clients, trade partners, friends and family on a more personal level than I usually get to do during a work day. I love the fact that our readers welcome me into their inbox and take the time to read what I have to say and, amazingly enough, some of you even like it! All that being said, I certainly have the best job in the Burgin Blogging project. Poor Rhonda however, isn’t so lucky. Every time I write a new blog or upload a new project photo she has to spend the next hour or more updating all of our Social Media profiles.
