It’s finally here! Sunshine, beautiful weather, chirping birds, blooming flowers, and clutter. They are all a clear indication that it is finally spring!
Is your New Year’s Resolution to be better organized? January is National Organization Month so there’s no better time to get started!
If anyone knows about organization it has to be Santa’s elves. With all of the millions of toys they have to sort and prep for Santa, you just know they are masters of storage and organization. So, this year, I made a call to the North Pole (yes, I have connections there - I’m a Mom), and asked for some tips to share with our readers.

While I am a blogger, I am also an avid blog reader, especially when it pertains to the Home Improvement industry. I generally am a major stickler for ensuring that our blogs are original and that I am not simply repeating what someone else has said but today will be a bit different. During my usual rounds of my regular blogs this week I came across one that had some really fantastic ideas. So, I decided to share it with our readers, of course, with a link back to the original source – Ecohome Magazine (www.ecohomemagazine.com).
Recently we did an interview with Builder and Developer Magazine and answered several questions on the remodeling industry. One of the questions we were asked was what are the current trends we are seeing in design for kitchens. The only answer we could give was that the latest trend is to “buck the trends”. More and more homeowners are planning to stay longer in their current homes and want to personalize their space.
Burgin Construction was featured in this month’s issue of Builder and Developer Magazine. Owner Brad Burgin discussed the current state of the Remodeling Industry and future of the company as well as some of the current trends in the industry. Click on the image below to go directly to the magazine’s website and read the article on page 50.
The Burgin Construction family would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day holiday. As we spend the weekend with our family and friends in celebration of our freedom, we will be keeping in mind all of those who have served our Country in order to secure that freedom. To our troops serving at home and abroad as well as their families who sacrifice so much – THANK YOU!!!
Over the past few months our company has begun offering home repair and maintenance services through our new Handyman Division. We can take care of those “honey do” lists that you’ve been trying to make time for and save you money in the process. In celebration of the 4th of July we are kicking off our “Freedom From Home Repairs” special. Now through the end of July you’ll get 15% off any of our Handyman services just by mentioning this blog post!
A very happy Father’s wish goes out from all of us here at Burgin Construction to all of the Dad’s out there. In honor of Father’s Day I’m including in this week’s blog some Home Improvement projects that Dad’s can do with the kids, no matter the age. While we prefer that you leave the more complex projects to the experts (like us, of course!); the following are a few ideas on how to get everyone involved in sprucing up the house and create some quality time with the kids.
